About Alberta C.O.P.S.

Alberta C.O.P.S. is a provincial recruitment program designed to attract young people into the profession of policing.

Over the last several years, recruiting has become a top priority for police agencies across the province. Police agencies are constantly recruiting to keep with the demands of growth, retirement and attrition.

In direct response to the needs of Alberta police agencies, the Alberta Solicitor General and Public Security is funding this project to help raise the profile of policing as a career.

Alberta C.O.P.S. represents all 12 police agencies in the province including the RCMP.
